As part of Singapore’s Bicentennial, the book designed is in conjunction with the launch of a new exhibition at Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum. It covers 200 significant natural history events from the island’s past, with a navigational timeline on the spine. Each spread focuses on a different year and includes specimens, ethnographic materials, and illustrations to help readers understand our natural history and heritage.
We worked with the ArtsWok Collaborative team on their brand strategy. As a creative lab, this identity encapsulates their ethos, embodying a vibrant and innovative spirit. Drawing inspiration from the analogy of a wok in the cooking process, our design elements—comprising the logo, typography, and color palette—carefully mirror ArtsWok Collaborative’s dynamic and thriving creative milieu.

From 2018, the Singapore Art Book Fair underwent a transformation, moving away from a mass-market focus to one internationally recognized as an art book fair. The Singapore version of this event specifically emphasizes the regional context of Southeast Asia, serving as a unique platform that brings together diverse art book creators in an English-speaking city, making it a logical choice.

The Strategy Assessment and Brand Research Workshop unveiled two critical findings related to the museum’s overall identity and perception across its diverse programs and formats. This case study provides documentation of the comprehensive branding exercise and the strategic process involved.
