Singapore Art Book Fair (SGABF) is an independent annual multi-day festival specialising in contemporary art books & zines. Following the previous year’s successful strategy, this edition focused on providing a more content-centric, value-added experience for fairgoers. To facilitate a 6-month integrated campaign, a flexible and neutral identity system was set up to encompass a diverse range of marketing needs.
With the theme A State In Play, SingaPlural 2018 is a celebration of the indeterminacy of process and the stage of experimentation and work even before design sets in. The design direction draws inspiration from the process of prototyping and experimentation. Line elements feature across the festival identity’s as a connective and adaptable visual device that is presented in different configurations.
